SOME THINGS TO LOOK FORWARD TO |
|
Guest Speakers - This year we will have two guest speakers. On Thursday evening Marine Retired Colonel Rich Rose who lives in Geneva will speak and on Friday evening the speaker will be Retired Colonel Arnald Gabriel who was the Leader of the Empire Band while stationed at Sampson. |
|
Let’s make this a reunion within a reunion. All of you ex-band members need to come to the reunion and find more ex-band members that are not members of the Association and invite them to come also. |

Friday Tour - We are offering a wine tasting and Amish Museum tour on Friday. The tour cost will be $60.00 per person and it includes lunch. The tour itinerary is listed below. |

Static Aircraft Display - The T33 will be displayed on its pedestal, painted with all decals attached, for all to admire. |

Saturday Memorial Service - Will be held on Saturday afternoon. |

Wednesday, September 3 - Fall Board of Directors meeting at 10 AM (You are invited to attend). For those arriving early the Hospitality Room will be open from 2 PM until 11 PM. Old-fashioned Hamburger and Hot Dog cookout at the museum in the evening. Bus transportation from the Holiday Inn to the museum will be provided. Bus departure for this event is 5:00 PM. |

Thursday, September 4 - Registration starts at 9 AM. (brochures and maps of Sampson and surrounding areas will be given out). Museum “Work Party” and noontime lunch at the Park Recreation Building . “Mixer” and Buffet Dinner (casual dress) that starts at 5:30 PM (Holiday Inn). |

Some Notes |
|
The Dining Room reserved for the buffet/mixer and for the banquet seats 350 people. An auxiliary dining room has been reserve for any spillover. It is connected to the main dining room with an audio system. As registration forms are received a number will be assigned to the name and the first 350 people to register will be seated in the main dining room. For any festivities associated with the dinners seating will be provided for everyone in the main dining room. |

How to Get There |
|
To Waterloo, NY, the Holiday Inn, and the Microtel Motel. Located at the junction of Route 414 and Routes 5&20. By the NY Thruway (I-90), take Exit 41, Go South on Route 414 approximately 8 miles. The Holiday Inn will be on your right. The Microtel Motel is just past the Holiday Inn. To Sampson State Park from Waterloo, use Routes 5&20 west approximately 5 miles. Turn left onto Route 96A and go south approximately 11 miles to the park entrance on your right. To Geneva, NY, use Exit 42 on the New York Thruway and drive south on Route 14 approximately 8 miles. The Ramada Inn is at the intersection of Routes 14 and 5&20. Motel 6 is about 1&˝ miles west. To Sampson State Park from Geneva drive about 1 and ˝ mile to the east and turn right onto Route 96A. Go south approximately 11 miles to the park on your right. |

Friday, September 5 - Those wishing to see the area on their own can visit the Prime Outlet Mall in Waterloo, the Rose Hill Mansion in Geneva, the Keuka Lake Wine Route, 7 Wineries are just minutes from Geneva, there are 10 wineries on Cayuga Lake just east of the Park, the National Women,s Hall of Fame in Seneca Falls and many more places of interest. |
