The Parade again is on Wednesday May 30th and as usual we will meet in front of the Holiday Inn for lunch and practice. We will meet at 12:00. Color Guard members if you would like to have a "Color Guard Patch" to put on your jacket. call, Don Christman, and he will send you one.

SQUADRONS NEWS
A meeting/symposium for the Squadron Commanders/Members was held on Saturday morning of the reunion. The exchange of information and ideas was well taken by the attendees. This could be an added feature for them at future reunions. If you, the members, have ideas like this to make our reunion better, speak up. We could use this format to bring more and better interface with the Membership and the Board of Directors.
Starting, in the June Roll Call issue we will be devoting two to four pages about the Regional/Local Squadron’s and their activities.
This event is due to Norm Morency and Harvey Reibel's efforts to gather information which will then be selected to be published in future quarterly Roll Call issues. “KEEP SQUADRONS ALIVE”.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS
It is time to vote for a new board of directors. Two trustee positions are open; John Murtha’s and one open position are up for reelection for 3 year terms. A volunteering form is included in the March Roll Call issue (page 27) (you can also print the form from the link at the bottom of this page, so if those of you out there who would like to become board members, start thinking about volunteering for one of the positions available. The person must be a member in good standing; this means paid up dues as of May 2012, and must also be ab1e to provide his or her DD2l4. In the case of a Hereditary Member, they must provide a copy of their parents DD2l4. Cut off date for Officers form is May 9, 20l2.

TRUSTEE NEWS
Hal Fulton has sent the board a letter of resignation as an officer of the Sampson Air Force Association, Inc. The officers position will be up for vote. Hal will be missed by all board members; he was well spoken at meetings, with ideas and great input. Hal will still be in charge of the “Buy A Brick” campaign.
