MUSEUM UPDATE.

Museum Construction. As reported in the March Roll Call we received bids to do the final museum construction project. The project included finishing the small room next to the library that was used to store whatever. Then we plan on opened up the walls from the library to the main museum. That created a walkway from the library to the main museum without having to go outside.
By doing this, we will have to move the large mural from the main museum to the library.
This project will give us some more wall space and museum space for additional displays.
We started the project in March completed it in May.

First we had to remove the mural from the main museum and then install it in the library.

The picture at the right is looking from the

main museum into the library. All that was left to
do was paint the walls.

Then we had to put up a dust barrier so
when the state cut the opening in the
wall the dust could be contained.

Then the contractor came back
and put in the wood floor and
framed the two doorways.
