THE MEMORIAL STATUE |

The idea for the memorial statue surfaced at the same time the idea for the museum did. However due to |
|
the cost of the museum, the statue was put on hold until 2001 when we would financially be able to foot the cost. |

The site for the statue was picked and then we went and found a sculptor to create the statue. |

Once we decided to have the statue constructed then we had to build the sub base for it. |
|
The hole was dug and the cement poured during the winter of 2002 and 2003. |
