While some were working on the plane others were making sure the pedestal the plane would be mounted |
|
on and the sidewalk to the pedestal were being completed. |

A contractor was hired to help us with the pedestal. They in turn hired an engineer to design the interface |
|
with the T-33 and a mounting bracket. Notice the bolts sticking out of the top of the pedestal. The bolts |
|
interface with the mounting bracket. The design will withstand winds up to 120 MPH. |

We did a dry run with the mounting bracket in the NAV Aides shop before the real thing. |
